Gen Brown is a Buffalo entrepreneur and business owner who understands what it means to build without having every answer, every connection, or a perfect roadmap.

Over the years, Gen has started and operated businesses, gaining firsthand experience in entrepreneurship, business operations, financial management, marketing, negotiations, hiring, leadership, and navigating complex state and regulatory processes.

But some of her most valuable lessons didn't come from a classroom or a textbook. They came from experience — asking questions, finding resources, overcoming obstacles, making difficult decisions, learning from mistakes, and continuing to move forward.

Those experiences inspired Beyond Boundaries.

Gen believes talent and ambition exist everywhere, but access to knowledge, mentorship, resources, and opportunity does not. Too many young people have great ideas and big goals but don't have someone in their corner who they can simply ask, "How do I do this?"

Beyond Boundaries was created to help change that.

Through mentorship, Gen offers young people access to real-world guidance on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, business development, career decisions, and turning ideas into actionable plans. Whether someone has a business idea, wants to better understand money, needs help figuring out their next step, or simply needs someone willing to answer their questions, Beyond Boundaries is designed to be a resource.

Gen doesn't believe success follows one path. She believes young people should be exposed to possibilities, given practical knowledge, and encouraged to think beyond the limitations they may see around them.
